At PocketPass, your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Studios Skookum built the PocketPass app as a free app with no ads or third-party tracking. This SERVICE is provided by Studios Skookum at no cost and is intended for use as is.

If you choose to use our Service, you agree to the collection and use of limited information as described in this policy.

Information Collection and Use

PocketPass collects limited information to let you sign in, store your passes, and provide reminders. The types of data include:

• Account information (e.g., email address) when you sign in using Email/Password or Google Sign-In (via Firebase Authentication).
• User-created content you enter in the app, such as pass titles, notes, expiry dates, and reminder settings (stored in Firebase Firestore under your account).
• Images you choose to attach to a pass are stored locally on your device. PocketPass does not upload these images to our servers.

We do not collect your phone number, contacts, precise location, or other sensitive personal data.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information only to:

• Authenticate your account
• Store and retrieve your passes
• Provide expiry reminders (when enabled)
• Maintain and improve app functionality

Third-Party Services

PocketPass uses the following third-party services to operate core features:

• Google Firebase (Authentication and Firestore) to manage sign-in and store your pass data.

These services may process data according to their own privacy policies. PocketPass does not use advertising SDKs.

Account Deletion

If you wish to delete your account and remove all stored data (your passes), please email us at studiosskookum@gmail.com.

Security

We value your trust and take reasonable steps to protect your information. Data sent between the app and Firebase is transmitted securely (HTTPS). However, no method of transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure.

Children’s Privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page, and will be effective immediately upon posting.
